SOME CLOSING NOTES ON AN UNINTENDED ENTERPRISE
AN INTRODUCTION
For several years now I have thought there might be more to say about Custtad, my work with children. The kind of comments which could perhaps help to make it more understandable to others and even to some who had been trained in the approach. But each time I began writing I felt the need to say more could be mine alone.
There were also several experiences which had not previously been described and which had stayed with me and, apart from thinking they were capable of providing some additional understanding, I hoped they would find a place in what I eventually decided to write.
After several discarded attempts I decided to base this one on a previous set of notes. These I thought touched on much of what I wanted to say. I chose not to read through them to the end and planned not to make any significant changes. I would also be aiming not to repeat what had been covered in the book Balancing the Request to be Good, and elsewhere: but I would not to be too concerned if some slight overlapping did occur.
