The work being reconsidered in this new account was written about initially in the book
Balancing the Request to be Good. On the Wrong Road is a recording of the opening chapter.

AN INTRODUCTION

For several years now I have thought there might be more to say about Custtad, my work with children. The kind of comments which might help to make it more understandable to others and even to some who had been trained in the approach. But each time I began writing I felt the need to say more could be mine alone.

But there were several experiences which had not previously been described and which had stayed with me and, apart from thinking they were capable of providing some additional understanding, I had hoped to find a place for them in what I eventually decided to write.  

After several discarded attempts, I decided to base this one on a previous set of notes which I thought touched on much of what I wanted to say. I would be aiming not to repeat what had been covered in the book Balancing the Request to be Good and elsewhere but not be too concerned if some slight overlapping did occur.
