THE CUSTTAD LOGO
The black and white drawing which we use as the CUSTTAD LOGO was produced on the 24th October 1996 by a boy from ROYSTON PRIMARY SCHOOL GLASGOW. Feddie Kruger and Dracula were making regular appearances in his dreams after he had seen them on a video. He was also anticipating their appearance during his day at school. There was a large black space in the classroom ceiling where a tile had fallen out and it was through this space that he feared they would appear.
This ongoing fear had been affecting his behaviour and ability to concentrate on his school work. His class teacher was unaware of the reason but it had prompted her to ask the Head Teacher if she thought spending time in the CUSTTAD facility might be helpful
At TALK and DRAW, while describing his dreams and fears and talking about other aspects of his family life which had been troubling him, he added the words 'And Superman comes and saves me.' The tile in the ceiling was replaced, he decided it would be best if he stopped watching 'scary' videos and he became more settled and able to work in class.
